Renowned spiritual leader Prophet Kofi Oduro has called on Ghanaians to abandon behaviors that could lead to personal and societal regret, emphasizing the need for moral responsibility and conscious decision-making.

Speaking during a widely attended sermon at his ministry’s headquarters in Accra on Sunday, Prophet Oduro highlighted common behaviors he said often lead to avoidable setbacks in personal, professional, and communal life.

“Many of the challenges we face in our communities stem from choices we make without thinking of their long-term consequences,” Prophet Oduro said. “It is imperative that we live with integrity, show respect to others, and avoid actions that could later bring shame or regret.”

The spiritual leader further stressed the importance of self-discipline, cautioning against excessive indulgence in social vices, dishonesty, and impatience in pursuing success. “The choices we make today shape our tomorrow,” he added.

Prophet Oduro’s message comes amid growing concerns over societal issues such as corruption, reckless financial decisions, and moral lapses in Ghana. He urged citizens, particularly the youth, to take personal responsibility for their actions and to seek spiritual guidance when faced with difficult choices.

“Regret is often the fruit of ignoring wisdom and guidance,” he noted. “As Ghanaians, we must choose actions that build our communities rather than destroy them.”
