The Asokore Mampong District Court, which is hearing the case involving actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has adjourned the proceedings to July 29, 2024. This decision comes as the court awaits advice from the Attorney-General’s department.
When the case was called on Thursday, June 27, Assistant Superintendent of Police Emelia Owusu Ansah, the prosecutor, informed the court that the docket had been sent to the Attorney-General’s department for study and advice.
Lil Win faces charges of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm following his arrest on Monday, June 3, 2024. The charges stem from an accident involving a vehicle he was driving, which tragically resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.
Following his arrest, Lil Win was granted bail by the Asokore Mampong District Court. The bail was set at GH¢50,000 with two sureties.
