Similarly, Asaba Abraham secured a convincing win against Lock Benjamin from Zimbabwe, setting up a match against Egypt’s Mohammed Safwat in the next round, after a 6-3, 6-2 victory.
However, Bagerbaseth Lameck faced disappointment as he couldn’t maintain his winning streak, suffering a defeat against Mohamed Aziz from Tunisia, with a final score of 6-4, 6-2.
In the Women’s Singles category, Crawford Ruth encountered a tough challenge against Mari-Louise of South Africa, succumbing to defeat in two sets with scores of 6-1, 6-2, leading to her elimination from the competition.
