John Dramani Mahama Reiterates Commitment to Fulfilling Electoral Promises

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has reaffirmed his dedication to honoring all promises made as part of his electoral campaign for the upcoming December elections. Speaking at the 2024 NDC Policy Dialogue in Peduase, Eastern Region, the former president underscored his unwavering commitment to fulfilling commitments if entrusted with the mandate in the upcoming polls.

During the address, Mr. Mahama highlighted key pledges, including the streamlining of government, the abolition of ex gratia, and the removal of the e-levy. He expressed his steadfast determination to deliver on these promises and emphasized the viability of his policy initiatives, such as the “24-Hour Economy” and the “Digital Jobs Initiative,” which he believes can significantly enhance the nation’s economic prospects.

“I am resolved to uphold the promises I have made,” stated the former President, outlining over 60 policy proposals since 2021 aimed at restoring the economy and overall national well-being.

The two-day NDC Policy Dialogue involved active participation from various party groups, engaging in discussions and refining policy proposals intended for inclusion in the party’s 2024 election manifesto.
