In a startling incident on Friday, December 22, a bus owned by Intercity STC Coaches Limited erupted in flames near the Asafo Interchange in Kumasi.

The bus, reportedly transporting passengers from Accra to Kumasi, caught fire as it was en route to the Asafo Yard for parking. According to available information, the incident occurred with only 12 passengers on board, as the majority had already disembarked.

While the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the blaze.
