Today, the Vetting Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will commence the process of vetting several aspirants who seek positions within the party.
The committee’s work will commence with the scrutiny of Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, former Minister of Trade, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Kwadwo Poku.
Tomorrow, July 4, the committee will assess Boakye Kyeremanteng Agyarko, former Energy Minister, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, former General Secretary, and Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central.
On Wednesday, July 5, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, former Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie, and Joe Ghartey, Member of Parliament for Essikado-Ketan Constituency, will face the vetting committee.
Concluding the vetting process, Francis Addai-Nimako, former Mampong MP, will be assessed on Thursday.
The committee is chaired by Prof. Mike Oquaye, former Speaker of Parliament. Other members include Kwasi Amoako Atta, Minister of Roads, Stephen Abenkwa Sekyere, Osei Bonsu Amoah, Lord Oblittey Commey, Frank Davies, Rita Talata, Hackman Owusu-Agyeman, and Adelaide Ahwireng.
