Benjamin Danso, the constituency chairman of Krowor, was elected as the chairman of the association, while Harry Otu Hesse, the constituency chairman of Ayawaso Central, assumed the role of vice chairman. During the ceremony, Fiifi Taylor and William Olabode, outgoing executives of the association, officially handed over their positions to the newly elected officials. They urged the new leaders to work towards achieving the caucus’s objectives.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the constituency chairmen to discuss strategies aimed at securing victory for the NDC’s Presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, in the 2024 General Election. They also deliberated on ways to increase the party’s representation in parliamentary seats within the Greater Accra Region.

With the upcoming bye-election in the Assin North constituency, the NDC Greater Accra Chairmen agreed to visit the constituency to support the party’s parliamentary candidate in securing a victory.

The NDC Greater Accra Chairmen expressed their unwavering loyalty to the party’s leadership at both the national and regional levels. The meeting was attended by 24 out of the total 33 constituency chairmen in the Greater Accra Region, along with former constituency chairmen and outgoing executives who witnessed the swearing-in of the new association executives.
